Yza- My Good ‘Ol Buddy
July 18, 2005
A friend of mine, texted me, saying…
” Pass this word “GOD your so nice!” to 20 of your
friends(including me). If five comes back, your family will be safe, if
you ignore it, one of your love may die at year 2006- sensya na, love
ko family ko.”
It was not good at all. I don’t let one of my love
ones die because of this message. I have no choice but to pass the
message to 20 of my friends. It is my conscience, if I did not do.
After I send it, I receive a message from Yza. Her text said,…
“Who the hell are you?? You don’t have the right to
make predictions… Never use the word of God in vain and foolishness.
Why should I believe it? I have faith in the Lord.”
She’s right! Why should we believe to this message
if we just only faith in Him. We don’t have to worry about. The message
is a fraud. I thank Yza for her message, because it helps me a lot. I
learn more through her text.
And I conclude that Yza is a real friend. She’s different! She’s my good ‘ol buddy!
The bottom line is, always trust in the Lord. Don’t let your mistake be a regret… Fret not.
“Lord Jesus Christ, walk thru our house to take our worries and illnesses…” - this prayer is so powerful…
miss my chance at 5
July 14, 2005 My uncle Doming (lolo) turned 75 last January
but his family decided to throw him a party last June 25,2005 in Queens
at 5:00 pm. I was invited but it was too far and I have to afford at
least Php8,000.00 for the flight…. I received already the pictures
taken and they were all happy… Sounds like I’m missing the chance to
eat the lechon… I was
confuse then when I notice that there were three cakes and there were
three person blowing the candles. I thought uncle Doming is only the
one celebrating late birthday… They were three….. Closed… Better
luck next time…

The webster’s defines failure as
the act, state or fact of failing. I have asked myself many times, what
if failure is not an option? I think through this a person could
surpass all his problems. But my conscience said, “If there’s no
failure, a person could not easily fight.”
There are people who think they’re always right. They are the people in
the peak of Mt. Everest. Then, they are the people afraid to be failed.
Is it involves the reality of what we call- pride? Right? They are the
people who found out who did wrong could not easily accept it. For me,
if you did wrong, accept all the consequences. Jump up on the zest pool
of life and live it to the Fullest. Do not make things worst.
My palms were get sweaty that time busy encoding words needed for our
requirement in our class the other day when I am chance to open my old
e-mail account. I was really shocked when I receive an e-mail from an
undeliver report saying that my mail to claudia@pnb.com was not
successfully seend. I was reluctant since I didn’t send any e-mail to
claudia@pnb.com. I report this to my uncle and he said,”it is most
likely some sort of virus…An e-mail from someone’s contact list and
was routed to your e-mail. I would ignore these things. Never give out
any account number’s online, never give out any personal information
online… There are plenty of scams out there. If it sounds too good to
be true, then most likely, it’s a scam.” Then, I learn…
After those days, weeks, mornings, there’s still no sign that my mind
filled with thoughts. I am staring at the blank screen of the computer.
I think this is what we call- writer’s block. The time were you can’t
imagine, you can’t write. I ask myself if ever what benifits could I
receive from writing in a blog. I feel that what I am doing is just
self glorification. I’m just wasted my time… But in the end, I
conclude that writing is a passion that should not be forget nor be
ignored.
My College and My Self
July 12, 2005
About
studying nursing? “Don’t think too much, go for it, because you might
just end up loving it, and possibly change your mind.” I know for me it
has.
I’m taking up nursing and it is not actually my
course of choice. I just took it because everybody else is taking the
course. Plus the fact that articles on papers and features on
television say nurses are in demand outside the country. But as my
nursing studies progresses, everything changes and I learn to love my
course and everything about it. Along the way, nursing has become my
course of choice because it can give me a good life and most of all, I
can give people a good life they truly deserve.
It is a great deal to be in college. We can’t deny the fact that there
are gap between what you have and what you need to pay in college.
Thank God, there are special person supporting me and helping to afford
the costs of my college education. Thank you dad (Alex), mom (Gloria),
manong Davy, uncle Doming and auntie Fely for providing college funds
for my college expenses. Then there’s no trace of worry to think about
it. What should I do is making the best out of the expenses they are
paying.
My uncle and aunt said, “There’s always sacrifices until you have reached your goal. I bet, they’re right.
I have seen changes in our school, especially the new four- storey
building. I remember one television advertisement; “Mom says it’s
called metamorphosis.” So it’s metamorphosis. Okay, fine… I overheard
a student commenting about how late our school is when it comes to
facilities and buildings compared to the school where he came from, and
how he wished seeing the school at least level the quality of education
his former school offered. I think he came from Jacinto? Bad… bad…
bad… Well, we’re all entitled to our own opinion.
It is my hope that metamorphosis would not end here.
Confucius says it all
July 8, 2005
This is a special announcement …. I am soliciting interpretations
about the sayings of Confucius. I think it is a nice topic to be
discussed with. Select one from the sayings below and write down your
message in the add comment button located under this material.
1. The Philosopher Yu said, “They are few who being filial and
fraternal, are fond of offensing their superiors. There have been none,
who, not liking to offend their superiors, have been fond of stirring
up confusion.”
2.”The superior man bends his attention to what is radical. That being
established, all practical courses naturally crop up. Filial fiety and
fraternal submission- are they not root of all benevolent actions?”
3.The master said, Incomparable indeed was Hui! A handful of rice to
eat, a gourdful of water to drink, living in a mean street-others would
have found it unendurably depressing, but to Hui’s cheerfulness it made
no difference at all. Incomparable indeed was Hui!
4.The master sai, Learn as if you are following someone with whom you
could not catch up, as though it were someone you were frightened of
losing.

the things which my idol can do.

He is totoong tao and hardworking…
pray… it’s for free!
July 4, 2005 Prayers strengthens our bond withGod.
We don’t even need to reload every now and then because our card will
never be consumed. As long as well abide in Him. He will never leave
us. So let us pray sincerely. Lend a time to come close to God
not to ask for anything at all but just to talk with Him. Let us be
prayerful. For through this, we can grow healthy…
echt
can’t deny the fact that the Filipinos this days face the serious
condition of the country. There many Filipinos who are out of work,
prices of anything both and sold have gone too high, graft and
corruption growing luxuriantly and most of all, the people are weigh
down with too many taxes.
In my own opinion,
what our country needs now is a parliament on the street where there is
no formal rules to be followed, where everyone is entitled to air their
feelings.
As a student, I am
determined that [we] shall be involved in the parliament of the street
because it is an extension of the school…Education could be held
wherever and whenever. It is more worthy if [we] experience education
in action in order to establish a strong foundation for the good
tomorrow of the coming generation.
I do believe that the real classroom of the student is the society and the people is his surpassing teacher.
philosophy
July 2, 2005Yesterday
in our philosophy class, I learned more about self- awareness. Self-
awareness is the first and most important step to have conscious
intention to be aware. It is the ultimate tool for living a
personal ethical life. Blogging, for instance, is an activities
assisting to expand self- awareness. For me, blogging is like
journaling because it is a record containing factual material and
subjective interpretations of events, thoughts, feelings and plan.
Shout
Shout is for forever angry, mentally challenge, authistic, perverted, unsure, insecure and questionable.
Texting
through mobile phone is now most common type of expressing yourself.
Few months ago, I read a text message with obscene word- TANGINA, As
far as I know, tangina is a B’laan for expressing hate, angst or disgust
to a person or even a thing, places and so on. I can’t really dig how a
person can do that even no doubt that some might get hurt. More hurt if
the receiver doesn’t do anything bad to the sender. But we can’t blame
the person since there is the right of expression. But I think, writing
obscene word is a wrong way of approaching hurt or angst to a person
because it can be solve through good conversation. Ikanga, nadadala yan sa mabuting usapan. Right?
the tyro
Alas, it’s time for my brain cells to put their existence in good use.
Fret
not. All material in this blog were originally written. I don’t want to
be slapped with an indictment of plagiarism. Believe me.
My promise. Starting this new blog, my voice which is unheard shall reverberate within the pages of this journal.
