Life Stinks! err.. ??
January 23, 2006Jiji: Bakit po kayo di nagdadasal Nanay Lusing? Di ba sabi niyo kailangan pong magdasal…? Dapat po tayong magpasalamat sa mga biyayang bigay ng Diyos?
Lusing: Walang dapat ipagpasalamat!!
Philipp: Ba’t nasabi mo yan Lusing? May plano ang Diyos, ‘wag mo siyang sisihin.
Lusing: Bakit di sisihin…ha, Philipp? Isa na akong walang silbing may Cancer.
This was the flow of the dialogue among characters in ABS-CBN’s top-rated show "Mga Anghel na walang Langit" in Primetime last Friday.
Lusing think that she have all difficulties in the world after she was diagnosed with two doctors having a breast cancer. And that is the very reason why she can say to herself "Life Stinls!" and she end up blaming God about it. Philipp, her husband said "God would not allow these trials to come your way unless he has reason." Yeah right, He is not the one to be blamed, it is the opressor and the enemy which is Satan. God wants us to realize something out ofour anxiety and depression. Learn from our experiences and ask God to guide us in everything. He gives meaning to our lives, so we should not say that life is worthless, for life is full of meaning. Just open our heart to reality. Life is not all enjoyment but sorrows too. Remind ourself of the cross Jesus bore for us. His suffering is more than ours. So we don’t have to worry of the painstaking challenges that we are facing.
The Example. Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio proved that he is not just good in fighting in the boxing ring but also the depressive feeling he felt when he missed the cahnce to grab the championship title last year against Erik "El Terible" Morales. He strengthen his faith. He jump up on the zest pool of life and live it to the fullest. He proved this in a rematch with Morales yeaterday.

Pacman proved that he is still on the top of the boxing world when he won against Erik Morales of Mexico in the penultimate round at the jampacked Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pacman wins inside the distance stopped Vargas of the 10th round and captured the featherweight diadem. He was on the defensive most of the rounds as Morales peppered him with his power jabs. In the 10th round, Pacman threw lots of punches that dropped Morales. He barely survives the count and was very hurt. Pacman rained him again with heavy punches and managed to drop Morales for the second time. The referee stop the fight and proclaimed Pacman as the winner
A farewell epistle of a Youth

Dear Class,
I’ve nothing of great importance to tell you except that’d want to thank you for a 1/4 year. I really enjoyed school this year and most of my thanks for that go to the kids who sit around me which is quiete a lot because there was a lot of me to sit around. The reasons for my suicide had nothing to do with school except that I knew I was going to fail Math and Science. Another reasons are personal. This is a formal invitation to any of you here who want to go to my funeral. All you do is phone my mom and tell her.
I’m going to give you guys some advise don’t let life get you down like it did me. All of you have great times ahead of you along with bad, but the good will out weigh the bad. Some more advise- Don’t take drugs that started me on my periods of depression or black moods. I suppose I’d never have done this if it weren’t for grass. I love you all and hello.

Ni singko sentimos walang naitira sa pitaka ko.
Sa bawat pagsakay ko sa sasakyan ni Manong drayber, mabigat ang paang pinipilit kong hinahakbang tungo sa hintuan ng sasakyan. Ngunit sa kabila ng paghikaos ng aking damdaming uhaw, higit na mahalaga ang determinasyon sa sarili dahil nakakintal sa aking isipan ang krisis na pasan ng aking ama’t ina at di dapat hubad sa katotohanang di basta pagod atpawis ang naging puhunan upang ako’y makapag-aral at makapagtapos lamang..
At habang pumapasok ako sa paaralan at nababasa ang ma pangalang pumasa sa board exam nung nakaraang Disyembre , inspirasyon ang nagiging hudyat at kelangan ang matinding pag-aaral. Sapagkat ito lamang ang susi sa pinakaasam-asam na kaginhawaan. Hindi lamang sa sarili kundi para sa pamilya. Hindi lamang pera ang kailangan kundi ang dterminasyon sa sarili at pamilya bilang inspirasyon para makamit ang tagumpay.

A vanguard of students right
Rumored that there would be an extensuve extensive recruitment drive for the formation of the GUIDANCE OFFICE to widen its fold of peer counselors, I wasted no time joining the organization. My major aim is to empower myself as a student in terms of activities. But of course, I always consider the point that my prime reason why I’m in school is to study and not just part of an extra curricular activities…
"Junior Peer Counselor was organized by the office. It composed of volunteer students who are willing to work hand in hand with me to assist students especially the freshmen to cope with the challenges of college life and to expidite personal growth and development through activities such as group dynamics and peer tutorials. At the same time, the volunteers enhanced their personalities through interaction with their peers. The JPC’s also render services and projects for the benifit of communities outside the school. Their activities are most humanitarian in nature."

It was depression when some students deprived of their rights to join the organization because of the grade qualification included as rules that you should have at least 80% grade and above, what made situation worse was it resulted to half-baked qualification that look for intellegent students only.
For me, everyone should be entitled to join the club as long he is interested.
