Battle of Confusion

One
of the hottest issue nowadays is the proposal of concord or charter
change by PGMA after her State of the Nation Adress (SONA) just
recently. It is indeed one of the most controversial and disputed
issues in the contry nowadays.
People are holding mass rallies to air their staunch opposition over
cha-cha. What is really their in cha-cha that people reckoned it as a
true menace for poor’s quest for progress?
As far as I know and what I heard in the radio stations and
televisions, it is a revision of our constitution through constituent
assembly or constitutional convention… Cha-cha is regarded as
threatening to established lifestyle of Filipino people. It dumps down
our established industry…Some said that it is not true instead it
helps the country for progress and change the serious condition of the
country…
Who is the right? What is the really the truth of the matter?
History
tell us time and again that the issues, not just the concord, involving
high government officials usuall generate outrageous protests from the
people. As the tension rises, so is the destabilization against the
government with rebellion on one side and coup attempts on the other.
It is just a never- ending battle of confusion…
