The second floor of the B Building of our school fronting the the club/organizational floor mounted in the pathway where students waited their turn for the I.D. picture taking. It is a certified box-office activities. I was there this morning but unfortunately, I did not get a slot. Grrrrr.. ! In the world of mighty e everything is wired, digitalized and on-line, seems that anything in this world is going to be an instant coffee at the click of the mouse. That's why in just 2 minutes or less, our new school I.D. is ready to wear. What-a high tech! The new school I.D. has a background picture of the new building, a comic sans script sling, computerize signature, etc. Truth of the matter is, much of a difference, really, compared to the previous one. I couldn't help but wonder, did it all matter in the end? My perception of the students apathy did not budge. Did they care at all or did they realize it would be a waste of time? Like what happened to me a while ago. *Kakainis! Perchance the most stalwalt claim students unfortunately overlook and underrate is the right to choose or demand choice. Every year, we pay for the school I.D and some don't even bothered to wear it. Sayang naman! I'm guilty with what I am saying. Yeah right! I'm one among students who dont love to wear I.D. Wanna know why? I'd think it's a bit waste of time wearing that stuff beacuse I.D. is not a must in our school. A student could enter the school without complete uniform. What's the use of the guard? Decoration… It's my fervent hope that there should be a strict observance for students coming in and out of the school. Sana naging president na lang ako ng CSC! *lol NLE June 2006 Leakage Issue If you are not aware, there was a cheating scandal on the nursing board exam in the Philippines. Because of this, several years of work to bring NCLEX to the Philippines has evaporated. Since the Filipino government is unwilling to address this issue, the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (the body that administers NCLEX) has elected not to have a testing site in the Philippines. At the July executive board meeting of the NCSBN, a proposal to have the Philippines as testing site was to be discussed. Because of this cheating scandal, that proposal was never discussed. Hence one can assume that the Phlippines will not be an NCLEX testing site. For those who took the tainted exams and passed, there will forever be a cloud over their results. Did they pass fairly or not? Here's PNAA's position on this matter:
POSITION STATEMENT ON: THE INTEGRITY OF THE PHILIPPINE RN LICENSING EXAMINATION Mission The Philippine Nurses Association of America, Inc. (PNAA) is an internationally recognized professional nursing organization, established in 1979, consisting of thirty five (35) constituent chapters across the United States, including Hawaii, with membership representing thousands of Philippine nurses practicing in the country. The mission of PNAA is to unify Filipino nurses in the USA; uphold the positive image, welfare and prerogatives of its members; promote professional competence and quality healthcare; collaborate with other nursing and healthcare organizations to address issues of mutual concern and act on initiatives to enhance the future of the nursing profession and healthcare. Position Statement In accordance with its mission, and on behalf of nurses world-wide, the PNAA asserts the following, in response to the threatened erosion of the integrity of the RN Licensure Examination in the Philippines conducted in June 2006: PNAA deplores and condemns any dishonest, abhorrent or criminal act, including the alleged leakage of the Philippine nurse licensing examination, that threatens to erode and undermine the trust and respect accorded to Filipino professional nurses by their colleagues and the public that they serve in the global health care arena. PNAA cannot allow the dishonesty and unethical practices of a few people to erode the integrity of the licensing system and tarnish the credibility of the honest majority. PNAA believes that the questionable integrity of the licensing examination, which validates the nurses’ competence and knowledge-base, poses a threat to the health and welfare of those who will be entrusted to the care of Philippine nurse licensees. This licensing issue casts uncertainty on our quest for approval of the Philippines as an NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination-RN) test site, since it drives right into the heart of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing’s (NCSBN) concern regarding adequacy of mechanisms to safeguard testing security and integrity of intellectual property rights. PNAA applauds the courage and supports the dedicated efforts of our Philippine-based nursing colleagues for insisting on the exposure and subsequent investigation into alleged irregularities relative to the recent nurse licensing examination. PNAA extends its gratitude to the Philippine government, legislators and concerned public officials for responding to the call of our nursing colleagues in the Philippines to seek the truth, to bring the offenders to justice and to institute appropriate measures to prevent the recurrence of any further breach of the licensing system. The Philippine government has the ultimate responsibility and duty of care to ensure that the integrity of the licensing examinations is not undermined and to be accountable for enforcing strict rules and regulations, including meting out punishment to violators. Finally, the PNAA recommends the following strategies to address the issues cited in the foregoing statements. The Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) shall continue to investigate the alleged nursing board examination leakage, establish culpability, penalize the offenders and institute appropriate corrective measures to ensure the integrity of the licensing examination. The collaborative alliance between the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO), Manila based Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) and PNAA, shall constitute the core infrastructure for establishing an oversight program, including a Task Force of stakeholders from appropriate government agencies and nursing organizations, that will monitor the mechanisms employed to address the licensing controversy, safeguard testing security, protect intellectual property rights and ensure the overall integrity of local and international nurse licensing examinations administered in the Philippines. The PNAA believes, that the manner with which this breach of the Philippine nurse licensing system is addressed and resolved, could provide a "model" for change in our country’s growing democratic society, by setting the example to consistently uphold optimum standards for ethical and professional integrity that will rekindle and strengthen the trust accorded to Filipino nurses by our colleagues and the discerning public whom we serve in the global health care arena. Rest assured that the Philippine Nurses Association of America, Inc. (PNAA) persists, as always, in its unwavering commitment to support and collaborate with the Philippine government, global alliances and nursing colleagues, to address and rectify this unfortunate situation, to ensure the security of the RN licensing system and, most importantly, to preserve the dignity, integrity and credibility of the nursing profession, Filipino nurses and all Filipinos throughout the world. Orientation Program for Student Affiliates

This coming July, we will have our duty at Cotabato Provincial Hospital (CPH)- Brgy. Amas, North Cotabato. Good thing, there’s this day for orientation. It aims to know more about the said hospital, to know the conduct we must posses for our duty for two years conform to the standards set by the said hospital and a lot more. Last Thursday, it was the day intended for [us] nursing student of CdK Batch 2 to disscuss and talk about the hospital, staff, departments and rules and regulations. It was started with a short program hosted by Sheena and..hmm.. ah.. uhm,..Richard.. Oh no, that’s me !!! *lol.. 54 students packed the conference room with our clinical instructor, Mr. Jaime Imasa, RN. Guest speaker, Mrs. Felina M. Hernandez, RN (Chief nurse) and assisted by Mrs. Josefina Libre, RN (Assistant chief nurse) discussed DOH vision and mission statement; organic structure of CPH; medical services; department heads; philosophy, objectives and functions of nursing service;department sections and heads of nursing services; OPD, ER, Adm, NS1, NS2, NS3, NS4; other services offered at CPH; comitees at CPH, different programs implemented, student affiliates; patients rights; patients records and common mistakes commited by student nurses….
After having our lunch, we checked out of the hospital, Mrs.Libre, RN brought us to the different departments… We are divided into three groups.

May 21-I woke up 6 in the morning and prayed. It is a perfect moment to thank God for a new year ahead. It’s a new year, new life, new journey and a new beginning. You might now get the gist. Yeah, right.. It’s my natal day! Don’t you know that I’m already 18? Yeah, it’s time to rock. I got my celfone and received a shock [O.A. *lol] when I found out that two of my new chums greeted me a Happy Birthday. I really appreciate it. What strucked me most was I found out that the message sent 12:11 and 1:00am. Of course, those are those times when you feel your special. 
Then it was followed with lots of greetings from my family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances and relatives in e-mail, through text, phone calls and in person. Happy… for they did not forget my birthday after all! Yahoo!!!!

Comments ABOUT the 1999 email rumor, you can save your own life during a heart attack by coughing: This message gives the impression that the technique described has the endorsement of Rochester General Hospital and Mended Hearts, Inc., a heart attack victims’ support group. It does not. Although the text was first published in a Mended Hearts newsletter, the organization has since retracted it. Rochester General Hospital played no part in the creation or dissemination of the message, nor does it endorse its contents.
According to the best information I can find, "cough CPR" (referred to in some variants as "self-CPR") is a real procedure occasionally used in emergency situations under professional supervision. It is not, however, taught in standard CPR courses, nor do most medical professionals presently recommend it as a "life-saving" measure for people who experience the most common types of heart attack while alone (note: see update below).
One doctor I contacted — a heart specialist — had never even heard of the procedure.
Other doctors say they’re aware of the "cough CPR" technique but would only advise it under very specific circumstances. For example, in certain cases where a patient has abnormal heart rhythms, coughing can help normalize them, according to Dr. Stephen Bohan of Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. However, most heart attacks are not of this type. Dr. Bohan says the best course of action for a typical heart attack victim is to immediately take an aspirin (which helps dissolve blood clots) and call 911.
This is a case where a nugget of truth has apparently been misunderstood and misrepresented to the public, though not intentionally. A chapter of Mended Hearts published it without proper research. It was then reprinted by other chapters and eventually found its way into email form.
Darla Bonham, the organization’s executive director, issued a statement afterward which read, in part:
I’ve received email from people all across the country wanting to know if it is a valid medically approved procedure. I contacted a scientist on staff with the American Heart Association Emergency Cardiac Care division, and he was able to track a possible source of the information. The information comes from a professional textbook on emergency cardiac care. This procedure is also known as "cough CPR" and is used in emergency situations by professional staff. The American Heart Association does not recommend that the public use this method in a situation where there is no medical supervision.
As with all medical rumors, the most prudent course of action is to verify the information with your own doctor or other medical professional before acting upon it or sharing it with others.
2003 update: In September 2003, four years after this email rumor began circulating, Polish physician Tadeusz Petelenz presented the results of a study which he said demonstrates that cough CPR can indeed save the lives of some heart attack victims. While not immediately embraced by all the members attending the European Society of Cardiology meeting where Petelenz spoke, the findings were characterized by some as "interesting." At least one heart specialist, Dr. Marten Rosenquist of Sweden, found fault with the study, objecting that Petelenz had presented no evidence that the subjects had actually experienced cardiac arythmias. Everyone knows that some of the risk factors for a heart attack are obesity, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Mind you, fully half of all heart victims have absolutely NO advance warning symptoms they experience is the actual heart attack.. *Chills! But wait! Before you think about it. Fret not!
Just recently, I received an e-mail from my Auntie Fely. It was an article from Health Cares, Rochester General Hospital via Chapter 240s Newsletter "And the Beat goes on". Reprint from the Mended Hearts, Inc. publication, Heart Responses. It would be helpful. It’s not only while you are driving. But it also applies to whereever you are. Here it goes..
What are you to do if you have a heart attack while you are alone?
The Johnson City Medical Center staff actually discovered this and did an in-depth study in our ICU. The two individuals that discovered this then did an article on it. Had it published and have even had it incorporated into ACLS and CPR classes.
It is very true and has and does work. It is called cough CPR. A cardiologist says it’s the truth..

Let’s say its 6:15 p.m. and you’re driving home (alone of course), after an usually hard day on the job. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to radiate out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far.
What can you do? You’ve been trained in CPR but the guy that thought the course, didn’t tell you what to do if it happened to yourself.
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, this article seemed to be in order. Without help, the perso whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left befor loding consciousness.
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated very two seconds without let up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.
Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.
Tell as many other peole as possible about this, It could save their lives…Go!!!

If we grab the title "honor student" it is relatively attached to a better student- making the best and go to school not just for nothing. After all, it is easier for you to get a job. Bob, a friend of mine has graduated cum laude fresh from UST is now already working in a call center.
In recent years, I’m proud to say that I’m in THE list. In our school code, to be a candidate for honor, you - should not have commited in any grave infraction of the school’s rules and regulations and grades should suffice the required grade qualification [no grade below 83%]. Now that the grades were released for the 2nd sem this school year, I was really shocked to see my grades are just 82 and 81- blag!- lower.. Grrrr.. I was really disappointed.
I read the story of a girl who graduated cum laude from a prestigious shool but couldn’t even get a job. Urgh!!!
"…IN Jerimiah 29:11. The Lord said, "I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and future." I will never leave nor forsake you." So we may baldly say. "The Lord is my helper;I will not fear,"Hebrews 13:5,6."
These statements really inspired me. It would not mean that lucky are those who studying in a known-school or those graduated with flying colors. Its not that.. "Lucky are those who find themselves sitted on a silver chair and woe to those who are doomed to life’s gruesome realities such as poverty and misfortunes…"
I fare well in class for I’m making the best out of the expenses my parents and uncle are paying. Some keep on telling me that I should never surrender instead keep my faith no matter what life’s may offer. And now, even I’m not in the list, I know its not the end. I know that there’s a SUCCESS waiting for me and I’m determined to achieve it. Determination to move on continues..
Movin’ on
The start of classes this summer sem ushered a lot of hope for me. Great hope to get a good grades and have lots of fun and excitement too. This gonna be my first time to be assigned in Kidapawan Doctor’s Hospital for our Related Learning Experience. It’s a four hour shift. I hope something easy on my first day- Pediatrics..or even Geriatrics.. Yeah right! As they say, be kind and patient. People in the hospital need TLC. I have three consecutive classes every afternoon, Mondays to Fridays.. SocSci 3, Health Nutrition 4, and Nursing Care Management 501200. DEMAND: I need a break! I need a kit-kat! But opppz! Chocolates are not allowed. *lol. I don’t even have the time to review for the next subject in case there’s a quizz..err…a long quizz. There’s no short quizz at all [C.I.’s said..].. Grrr.
I love this sem.You can imagine how good my environment in every class.. Wanna know why? Write me. It’s too confidential. But I’ve already told some of my friends- Kuya Eric, Bob, Kingdaddyrich and Nicole. Wahahah! This sem has lots of surprises, I suppose. I know it’s still taking vital signs, inject here- inject there, transferring patients, cleaning the room; hospital.. Whew! What-a good job. Stressing but worth satisfying. I really hope that I cannot get an axe. By axe, I mean, line of 7 grades.. And most of all- I.R. [Incidence Report].. Tsk, tsk, tsk.. Scarring..

Nung Sabado ng umaga, maagang pumunta si Uncle Boy sa bahay namin upang pakiusapan ang erpat kong magdrive mg kanilang jeep. Tumanggi ang erpat ko dahil sa mismong araw na yun ay may sasalihan silang sabong.
Ilang oras ang lumipas isang masamang balita ang aming nalaman. Kung nanood kayo ng TV Patrol nung Sabado, marahil alam niyo ang balita tungkol sa dalawang jeep ng nagsalpukan malapit sa St. Benidictine sa Sta. Cruz Davao del Sur. May naiulat na tatlong patay. At ang isa dun ay ang jeep nina Uncle Boy. Isa rin siya sa mga namatay kasama ang dalawang bata. Aksidente ang nangyari at halos lahat ng sakay ay sinugod sa ospital. Maliban kay Uncle Boy na binawian ng buhay mismo sa oras na pagkatapos naaksidente.
Malapit sa pamilya namin si Uncle Boy dahil magkaibigan na sila ng erpat ko simula pagkabata. Siya rin yung inuutangan namin sa panahon na walang-wala yung pamilya namin at kinakapos sa pera. Isang malaking kawalan ang pagkamaty niya sa kanyang mga kapamilya, kaibigan at kakilala. Siya’y naging isang mabuting konsehal sa bayan ng Makilala noong taong 2000.
Isang araw bago ang naaksidente ay pinaplano pa nga nila ng erpat ko ang gagawin nilang selebrasyon para sa dalawa niyang anak na naggraduate. Balak niyang magpalitson ng baboy bilang pasasalamat sa dalawa niyang anak na nagtapos sa San Pedro College, Davao City - isang kilala at magaling na paaralan sa Lungsod…
Ngayon napagtanto ko na ang buhay ay sadyang hiram lamang at anumang oras ay pwede itong bawiin ng Lumikha. Masakit man tanggapin pero yun ang katotohanan.
Malaki ang pasasalamat ko sa Kanya na hindi napasama sa jeep nang mga araw na yun ang erpat ko…

Napagising ako ng maaga nung Biyernes dahil sa sigaw ng ermat ko dahil sa may nakapasok na magnanakaw sa aming kusina. Agad din kumuha ang erpat ko ng itak at saka pinagtataga ang naturang kriminal. Ilang segundo ang nakaraan ay tila hindi pa rin ‘to nalagutan ng hininga hanggang sa nawala ako sa matinong pag-iisip at kinuha ko ang hawak na itak ng erpt ko. Dinala ko ang suspek sa labas ng bahay at walang-awa ko siyang tinadtad hanggang sa nahati ang katawan niya sa sampu. Hanggang sa naglabasan ang mga dugo at ang kalob-looban nito. Agad rin akong naghukay sa likod ng bahay namin at dun inilibing ang napatay.
Oopppssss… Teka lang muna. Bago niyo i-close ang blog na ‘to, hayan niyo muna akong magpaliwanag . Una sa lahat, hindi po tao ang aming napatay. Agad lamang siyang pumasok sa kusina na hindi man lang kumatok sa pinto. Sabagay, paano naman niya magagawa yun? E, wala naman siyang mga kamay. Mga labing-apat na inches lang ang kanyang taas at ang katawan nito ay may 1-inch diameter lang. May ulo siya at buntot. Ngayon, alam mo na? Oo, tama ka! AHAS…
Ewan ko ba kung bakit ko yun nagawa. Di man lang siya nabigyan ng chance magpaliwanag. Ngayon ko lang narealize. Pero sabagay kung ikaw ang nasa sitwasyon, malaki ang posibilidad na gagawin mo rin yung karumal-dumal na krimen.
Maliit ang ahas na yun at paano kung napagutusan lang yun ng mga magulang niyang bumili ng suka o kaya’y toyo. At saka naligaw lang siya. Baka napagkamalan niyang tindahan ang kusina namin. Paano na lang kung ang mga magulang niya ay kapamilya ng Anaconda. Tiyak malaking gulo ang haharapin ko..

Alas kuwatro y medya.. isang mensahe ang aking natanggap na nagpamulat sakin sa isang katotohanan.. na magiging hudyat sa lumalalang kabagalan sa pagkamit ng katarungan.
Sa mga nagbabasa ng blog na ‘to simula’t sapul. Minsan kong naibahagi ang buhay ni Benjaline Hernandez o mas kilala sa tawag na Beng, isa sa mga biktima ng krimen noong ika-5 ng Abril, 2002 sa Sitio Bukatol, Brgy. Kinayawan, Arakan Valley. Si Megace, kababatang kapatid ni Beng ay napadaan sa blog ko at nabasa ang entry na yun. At sa kanyang mensaheng ibinahagi sa’kin, lubos niyang ikinukundena ang mabagal na proseso ng hustisya sa pagkamatay ng kanyang ate. Ayon kay Megace, may tatlong hearings sa isang taon at sa bawat hearing, iilan ang naiipresent na testigo. Dinagdag pa niya ang kalungkutang kahit murder ang kaso ay nakabail pa rin ang mga pumatay. Bakas sa mensahe niya ang pangungulila sa ateng naging sandigan niya sa lahat ng bagay sa loob ng labimpitong taon. At ang pagkamatay nito ay isang malaking kawalan sa buhay niya at ng kanyang pamilya.
Si Megace ay may simpleng pangarap. Hangad lamang niyang mabigyan ng hustisya ang pagkamatay ng isang taong malapit at mahalaga sa kanya. Di natin maitatangging maraming tao rin ang pinagkaitan ng hustisya. Sila na umaasa sa hatol ng korte. Ngunit paano makakamit ang sinasabing hustisya kung kayod-pagong naman ang nangyayari. Isang napakasakit na katotohanang halos hindi katanggap-tanggap.
Isang napakasakit na sampal ang katotohanang sa bawat galaw ng bawat tao ay nasa kamay lamang ng iilan na tumatakda sa kapalaran ng mga taong salat sa kapangyarihan. Na sa bawat paghihirap ay mapupunta lamang sa wala. Saan ngayon ang hustisya?
Ano nga ba ang meron sa hustisya sa bansa? Kung wala na nga bang paraan na misaayos ang gusot, mabuti na nga lang bang kalimutan ang masakit na nakaraan? O kaya’y idaan na lamang sa marahas na pakikipaglaban? O ipasa-Diyos na lang ang lahat?

Here I am in an internet cafe, staring in a computer with a green atmosphere. This is my perfect moment of reflection and my chance to be alone with the computer and a four-cornered-booth.
I’m not really up telling stupid entry today but since I wnt to release all my emotions this past few weeks, I’m going to tell you one really stupid incident [???] happened to me.
I have a gf and were almost __ months on. I love every moment that we are together. But the worst is, I didn’t even think of certain posibility of sticking up with me. The situation now was very different. And it all started few weeks ago. She’s busy for the preparation of her graduation. Well, thats acceptable. But I can’t imagine why shes not texting me just to inform how she’s doing. I knew that she dont have a celfone already but I think she can use her friends celfone to send me a message. I’m also busy for signing of clearance for our final exam and texting would be the best way to keep in touch with her. But as I text her, she didn’t have the nerve to reply. One thing is certain, shes avoiding me already. I overheard that everytime they practice for their graduation rites, shes always asking if where is her crush. It’s so unfair to me as her boyfriend.I heard also from her friend that its her attitude for not being serious to her boyfriend. Ang dali lang daw magsawa sa mga boys like what she did to her past boyfriends. Well, now I knew that what she feel to me is just mere infatuation that whatever time, her feelings to me will change. Urgh!! I could almost cry! I thought she really loves me - turned out she just puppet my life! [I hate to say this]… yeah, stupid!!
She could be wrong, right? No ones perfect.. What if I misinterpret a lot of things?… But I don’t want to be stay being stupid for loving the person who cant pay back her love…
Maybe it’s time for me to say goodbye, to stop this foolishness and senseless relationship…

February 28, 2006 Badtrip, hayaan muna natin ang mga potaenang mga pambansang balita dahil I have lots of thoughts naman na di nagiging mitya ng aking pagkakulong… Peace out!! Hayaan muna natin si PGMA at ang mga circle-of-friends niya at ang mga kritiko nito..
What I do if I don’t do anything is crawled up in bed and think of those funniest, kinkiest and happiest experiences during my elementary days… I reminiscing those days na sumasayaw ng folkdance. Geeeee.. It’s fun! And suddenly, I remember, of course, my partner. She’s Juvy, a beautiful girl. I still remember those moments up to now and actually I have a picture with her wayback grade school na sumasayaw nung shetlog na waltz habang nagho-holding hands. We’re almost 10 years na di nagkikita. Accidentaly, naging kaibigan ko ang naging bestfriend niya during highschool. Wow! What a coincidence… Then, no hint of otherwise hiningi ko ang number ni Juvy kay Ai-ai(bestfriend nya)… Then I found out that she’s also a TM subscriber. At dahil na rin sa may ulimitxt ang TM, we had the chance to chat. Hahaha! She’s now kalog like me. Daming jokes at punchline… She’s now studying in Ateneo de Davao University taking up International studies. Wow! astig na ‘tol ko. Tol nga pala tawagan namin. Debut nya last February 3 and she invited me pero di ako tumuloy for some reason. Hindi dahil wala akong pamasahe patungong Davao o kaya’y walang gift.. I missed that chance, time na sana yun na makikita ko yung pagbabago ng ‘tol ko from a girl to a lady. I Knew, daming nanliligaw sa kanya but sabi pa nya wala pa raw siyang panahon para sa ganyan. Sayang, may lovey dovey na ako, liligawan ko sana yun. Weeee!, sobrang trying-hard ko naman…

Is there really a point to all of these?
February 27, 2006It was 2:30 in the afternoon last Tuesday, I stayed in the library together with some of my friends and classmates. Were making our assignment for our 4 o’clock Microbiology and Parasitology class. I sat in a vacant chair with Kuya Arvin when he suddenly asked me if i’m a member of the so-called New Peoples Army or NPA. I was shocked (grabe talaga ang impact.hehe). Tangina anong nakain nito? I want to offered him jabs(violent reaction). But wait, what’s wrong? He’s just asking. I mean, everyone is entitled to ask. So i keep calm as I try to. I answered him, "Nope…". After few minutes,, he asked me if what are the reasons why these people choose to be rebel. Malay, I whispered. Who am I anyway? Ampf, iba na to ah, interrogation na ‘to. I cannot answer his question with assurance because in the first place I’m not n NPA.
Through Kuya Arvs question, it encourage me to know more about these people. I read some books and magazines about these people. Research gyud. I learned that they have reasons to struggle against the government and they continually fight to achieve what deserves that was taken from them. They experienced hostilities in the hands of their landlord. They were working for hours that were beyond their bodies can afford. All in exchange to low salary and adding insult was the way in which their landlord treat them, low class.
Now I understand why they left to struggle. They aspire for human rights. In a reform that can contibute to progress, like them they reckon for infinity of equity…
Paramedics are good under Pressure
Paramedical Day. It has been an annual activity for the Paramedical Department of our school to have a Paramedical Day estblished fo Associate in Health and Science Education (AHSE), General Midwifery, Pharmacy Aide and Bachelor of Science in Nursing Students. The activity slated last February 20 bearing with the theme, Paramedics are good under Pressure. It was unprepared activity (as far as I know) but it was sucessfully conducted through the effort of the PD Officers. Congrats Peejay(PD President)!!! Pressured talaga sila that day… It was a proof that Paramedics (the truth one) are good under pressure.. Tsk, tsk, tsk…
February 21. I was in Metrobank that morning to check my ATM account and withdrawed 7,000 bucks. Thank you Tito Dave! Then I went directly to school in the Cashiers Office at the Administration Building to pay a required amount so that I can take the semi-finals exams and get my permission slip. Then I found out a very long queue.The office were mounted in the pathway with students who doing transaction to pay the amount like me so that they can get the permission slip. Lots of students and some parents falling in line and I think it take pains of standing for hours for me to stay in the end and wait for my turn and its already 10:20. Considering the fact that the processing of the transaction is kayod-pagong because the staff of the Cashier’s Office is comprised only of two persons (Wouldn’t they think that its a bit waste of time?) and the office will close at 11:15. So I used to stay in the Green Kiosk and studied my lesson for Microbiology and Parasitology 2 for 2 o’clock Exam that day. After few minutes, I went to the mini hospital in the Funda Lab to observe my classmates who were taking their RD or Return Demonstration exam fo Health Care 2.
It was already twelve so I went to Jojo Snackhauz and take my lunch with some friends. Then I went back to the Cashiers Office and I sat down with other students and waited for the office to be open. And before the windows, I’m already tenth in line. Then at exactly one o’clock, the Office open. I was waiting for nine students to finish their time, when I relized that the the line was not moving forward. Mantakin mo ba namang may nakisiksik at walang pakialam sa mga nakalinya sa likod? Other students in line have already grown worse, impatient, and mad. While I consider it to be serious, I still kept my cool. May araw ri sila s ‘kin!, I thought.
After few minutes (at last!), its my turn already. I gave my money to the cashier and finally I got the pemission slip. Yahoo!

Yesterday. I just came from Kidapawan when KOKEY catches my attention. Ooops! lol.. I’m referring to a show from Kapamilya Cinema. I remember that I’ve already seen this movie when I was still young.. I’m a fan of it. Hehehe. I don’t think I’ll be able to finish teling it. Kinda I misinterpret myself. What the heck! lol.
Enough of this s*** alibies! Let’s face the reality. Reality speaks about my obssesion with KOKEY.
Here’s the synopsis I lifted from …
On their way home, Bong (Carlo Aquino) and Anna (Pearl Ann Alonzo) discover Kokey, an extra-terrestrial whose space ship explodes upon landing on earth.
Without the knowledge of their parents (Ricky Davao and Cherry Pie Picache), the children keep Kokey at home. The three soon become the best of friends with Kokey turning out to be a big help to the family and their business, attracting costumers using his extra-terrestrial powers.
But Kokey becomes homesick, pointing to the sky in silent tears, missing his parents. He tries to contact them but with no success…

Bucks-Office
February 13, 2006 Just recently, our school celebrated an important school activiy. It is the most controversial one I’ve ever witnessed in my two years stay in a 4-year institution. The failure to showcase various surpises and happy celebration point the finger to College Student Council (CSC) during the speech of a highest-rank-person in the opening ceremony. There are cancellations done like the search for Mr. and Ms. CdK, torch parade and literary-musical contests. Lots of students want to have those activities that can gain interest and amusements but fail to do so because of the said cancellatios. The CSC cannot provide prizes (kuno) to be given away for the winners. Hmp, money makes the world go round. Can we have grand celebration witout spending too much money? I overheard also that the institution doesnt do their part and contribute for the said celebration.
In contrary with the speech, it is unfair and injustice to point the finger of failure to one party alone because the success of an activity is not alone credited to the ones who thought of having the activity and woked for its conduct. The failure can be traced back to all- the presidents, the organization, the students… When there is disparity, it can never be just because the president is not doing his job or just because in the issue of lack-of-funds. It’s because the supposed vanguards of transparent governnce are not doing their share in the obligation to endure- to watch each others back.
The celebration did not end with gret smiles on the faces of everyone, yet, it was celebrated with altruism (sana alam to ng iba). Two pulic services offered during the two-days celebration like the Feeding Program last friday morning for less fortunate children in the City. Free medical and Dental check-up was also conducted. Sad to say, some students don’t care at all being part with these activities. Bless be their poor souls. They just go to school for check-in and check-out to avoid an extra amount (penalty) of 100 bucks duing clearance…
